Daniel -> Other things Dan related -> Waxwork madame Tussauds London (2007)

Daniel has since July 2007 his own waxwork at the Madame Tussauds, London (sadly they don't have it at Madame Tussauds, Amsterdam here in Holland, well hopefully that will change one day) Daniel became the youngest actor to be immortalised at Madame Tussauds. Ben Lovett, of Madame Tussauds London, said:

"With his 18th birthday around the corner and stage roles like Equus under his belt, Daniel has become a young British acting force to be reckoned with. "It's been great for the studio's sculptors to recreate someone who we've all watched growing up on the big screen."

Dan, who was unable to sit for the process, has not seen the wax statue and Colin Jackman, one of the two sculptors who took several weeks to make the life-size model, said:

" We had a lot of research from photos and film footage. Most times, celebrities will sit, but in this case, it did not happen"

About Madame Tussauds: Millions and millions of people have flocked through the doors of Madame Tussauds since they first opened over 200 years ago and it remains just as popular as it ever was. There are many reasons for this enduring success, but at the heart of it all is good, old-fashioned curiosity. Today’s visitors are sent on a unique, emotionally-charged journey through the realms of the powerful and famous. The museum-style ropes and poles have gone so guests can truly get up, close and personal with A-list celebrities, sporting legends, political heavyweights and historical icons, reliving the times, events and moments that made the world talk about them…
