An international effort bringing attention to the current state of the worlds forests and raising funds by organizing a celebrity charity auction (Project Last Stand). The proceeds from the auction will support forest groups from around the world who are planting trees and buying unprotected land. Daniel contributed an item (it isn't clear what it was) to this celebrity auction to raise money for this cause.
Comic Relief: Hair Auction (2003)
Dan has been given some hair to the Big Hair-Do for the Red Nose Day from BBC1 (an auction for Comic Relief. The winner of Dan's locks shelled out a hair-raising £751 for Comic Relief. At the end there was a total raised of £3,506 picture [us]
LEPRA's Big Book Pledge (2003)
Dan and other "Harry Potter" cast members have donated signed copies of their favorite books, some with signed photos, to LEPRA's Big Book Pledge Auction. LEPRA is a leading UK medical charity which helps to fight leprosy and other killer diseases worldwide. Dan's donation to the auction is a signed copy of "The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger as well as a signed photo.
Tsunami Disaster (2005)
Daniel donated his Hogwarts crew T-shirt, the one he wore during the filming of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, for the Tsunami Celebrity Clothes Auction. The shirt was very special, not only because he signed the front of it, but also because it was only given out to the cast and the crew of HP. His shirt raised £520.00 after 32 bids, making a grand total of well over £25,000.
Kamp Kiwanis Club (2005)
Dan contributed his autograph, along with the other cast members of the Goblet of Fire production, in aid of the establishment for disabled and underpriviledged children.
Lupus Foundation (2005)
On 10 November 2005, during Dan's Today Show appearance, he autographed the "Green Room Book" which was auctioned off to raise funds which benefit the Lupus Foundation of America. The book was auctioned on eBay and the auction ended on 26 January for a winning sale of $34,107.00.
Book Aid International (2006)
Dan purchased the handwritten history (Black Family Tree) of the family of Sirius Black, his character's Godfather, at a charity auction which benefited Book Aid International.He also successfully bid for handwritten works by writers Iain Banks and Tom Stoppard. Mrs. Gresham (Dan's Mum) did the bidding for Dan who had very busy filming commitments. Dan was extremely keen to secure the item but was unable to be there himself in person due to his schedule. Bush Theatre (2006)
During a hiatus from filming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Daniel Radcliffe attended a flower show on behalf of the Bush Theatre in London. Broadway Cares/ Gypsy of the year competition (2008)
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Since 1989, the 20 editions of Gypsy of the Year have raised a combined total of $35,730,000 to benefit BC/EFA. In 2008, the cast of Equus featured star Daniel Radcliffe performed an original song, written by Mr. Radcliffe, entitled “The Love That Dare Not Speak Its Neigh”that included the show’s “horses” dancing and cavorting with their young star. People who bid on any of the auctions will be supporting the RFK Center's around the world with reconciliation in Darfur, advocating for children in Haiti, bringing an end to brutal oppression in Zimbabwe, and on behalf of Gulf Coast residents still reeling from Hurricane Katrina and the BP oil disaster.
Earthquake relief (2011)

Daniel attended (together with more celebrities) the BGC Partners' 9/11Charity Day in NY to raise money.
